Sports Acupuncture; the treatment of MSK and sports injuries with TCM, acupuncture, balms and plasters. (fully booked)

This two-day CPD will be a presentation of Kevin's original work, knowledge and treatments on treating MSK and sports injuries for 23 years using TCM, acupuncture, balms and plasters. Kevin has a special interest in lower limb injuries using TCM and acupuncture for treating tendinopathies with great success. On this two-day course he will talk extensively on his system and protocols of treatment. He will demonstrate the various advanced needling techniques and adjacent therapies he uses day to day in the clinic and sports environment.

Kevin Young graduated from the University of Westminster with a BSc (Hons) TCM: Acupuncture, Diploma in Tui-na and Patent Herbal medicine. He is a HCPC Chartered Physiotherapist, qualified in sports therapy and sports massage. Additionally, he has a MSc in Lower Limb Musculo-Skeletal Studies from Cardiff Met University. Kevin has worked extensively with sports teams, starting in American Football to national team level and European champions. This led him to 23 years as head Physiotherapist to National division and county rugby, and more recently with professional boxers, Thai boxing and mix martial artist (MMA)
